Frontend Engineer – React.js (Hybrid, 5‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team in Sunrise, FL on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on building high‑quality, responsive web applications using React.js over a 5‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive web applications with React.js, ensuring clean, efficient code.
• Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into functional components.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Create and maintain reusable, scalable component libraries and design systems.
• Optimize performance through lazy loading, memoization, and cross‑browser testing.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of frontend/UI development experience.
• 2‑3 years of hands‑on UI/UX design work.
• Strong understanding of design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• React.js (advanced) with Hooks, Context API, Redux or Zustand.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Flexbox, CSS Grid.
• CSS frameworks such as Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material UI.
• Version control using Git.
• Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch for UI/UX design.
• Optional: Next.js, TypeScript, Jest, React Testing Library.
