Front End Software Developer (Web & Mobile)

About the role

Comfort Medical is seeking a skilled Front‑End Software Developer to join its remote team. You will create secure, responsive, and scalable web and mobile experiences for healthcare applications, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Optimizely CMS (Episerver) components and content‑driven experiences.
• Create responsive, accessible, high‑performance user interfaces using mobile‑first design principles.
• Implement front‑end applications with React, Vue.js, or Angular frameworks.
• Build cross‑platform mobile apps with React Native or similar technologies.
• Integrate secure authentication using JWT tokenization and Azure Entra External ID.
• Consume and test RESTful APIs, using tools such as Postman.
• Collaborate within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) teams to deliver high‑quality software.
• Ensure solutions meet HIPAA compliance, accessibility, and scalability requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of front‑end web and mobile development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with React, Vue.js, and/or Angular.
• Hands‑on experience building mobile apps with React Native.
• Strong understanding of JWT‑based authentication and Azure Entra External ID integration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft .NET Razor Pages, MVC, and MVVM patterns.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, especially HIPAA.
