Front-End Engineer (React)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Front‑End Engineer with strong React expertise to build front‑end‑heavy applications and custom Airtable interfaces. You will work closely with product managers and solutions consultants to turn business workflows into polished, app‑like experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Airtable Custom Interfaces that act as product‑like UI layers on top of structured data.
• Implement end‑to‑end UI features using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, reusable components with attention to loading states, edge cases, and performance.
• Integrate third‑party SDKs and connect the front‑end to various data sources via APIs.
• Define UI patterns, component libraries, and standards to accelerate delivery.
• Ship iteratively in small, high‑quality increments and incorporate feedback quickly.
• Participate in English‑first technical meetings and asynchronous communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience building responsive, production‑ready front‑end applications with React.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and typed codebases.
• UI‑engineering mindset focused on polish, performance, and edge‑case handling.
• Ability to read SDK documentation and integrate external APIs independently.
• Understanding of data models and how data flows from back‑end to UI.
• Track record of delivering complete features or applications, not just isolated components.
• Clear written communication and strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
