Front-End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our product team in New York. You will be responsible for turning UI/UX designs into high‑performance, user‑friendly web interfaces while collaborating closely with designers, back‑end engineers, and product stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new user‑facing features and enhance existing ones.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and validate user input before sending data to the back‑end.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Handle asynchronous requests, partial page updates, and AJAX interactions.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in front‑end development or a related area.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or other relevant languages.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

Required skills

• Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with CSS pre‑processors such as LESS and SASS.
• Strong knowledge of client‑side scripting, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, AJAX, and partial page updates.
• Familiarity with Java and Python programming.
• Agile development practices.
