Front Desk Receptionist - Bilingual Spanish

About the role

Achieve Beyond is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Front Desk Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service at its Forest Hills office. The role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and mail, supporting the organization’s mission to help children with special needs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, welcome, and direct visitors while managing the therapy appointment calendar.
• Handle a high volume of incoming phone calls and route them to appropriate staff.
• Distribute incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries to the correct departments.
• Prepare outgoing mail, stamp packages, and perform daily drop‑offs at the post office.
• Maintain electronic filing systems and organize testing materials.
• Keep the lobby clean, organized, and presentable.
• Log front‑desk activities and report office issues to the Office Manager.
• Cover phone duties on four designated holidays and early dismissal days.

Required profile

• Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency.
• At least one year of prior office or front‑desk experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and friendly communication style.
• Detail‑oriented, goal‑driven team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
