Front Desk Agent – Holiday Inn

About the role

Midas Hospitality is looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join the Holiday Inn team in Poplar Bluff, MO. You will be the first point of contact for arriving, departing and in‑house guests, handling reservations, inquiries and billing with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, register them, assign rooms and issue key cards.
• Provide directions and information about hotel services, local dining, entertainment and travel.
• Sort incoming mail and faxes for guests.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
• Compute bills, collect payments, make change and process cash transactions.
• Create, confirm and cancel reservations as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in a customer‑service environment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic accounting tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
