Front Desk Administrator – Salon Receptionist

About the role

As the first point of contact for clients, you will represent Weldon Barber’s elevated brand image and create seamless, luxury experiences. You will manage client interactions, appointments, and retail sales while supporting stylists and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients, ensure comfort, and uphold professional hygiene and dress standards.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments using salon booking software, and confirm upcoming visits.
• Build relationships with returning clients and promote retail products.
• Monitor and replenish retail stock, handle point‑of‑sale transactions, and protect sensitive client information.
• Perform general front‑desk, administrative, and clerical tasks, and assist stylists as needed.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.

Required profile

• Organized, reliable, and accountable with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible, able to adapt to business needs, and comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Passionate about salon industry products and services.
• Previous salon experience preferred.

Required skills

• Point of Sale (POS) system operation.
• Salon booking software proficiency.
