French Teacher (up to 0.80 FTE) – Virtual

About the role

We are seeking a qualified French teacher to deliver differentiated instruction to grades 7‑12 in a fully virtual learning environment. The position is part‑time, up to 0.80 FTE, and supports both synchronous and asynchronous teaching modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging French lessons for secondary students using virtual classroom tools.
• Provide synchronous live instruction and create asynchronous resources to accommodate diverse learner needs.
• Develop differentiated materials that align with curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the instructional team to continuously improve the virtual learning model.

Required profile

• Valid teaching certification or equivalent qualification in French language education.
• Experience teaching French to secondary‑level students.
• Comfortable working in a remote, technology‑driven environment.
• Ability to commit up to 0.80 FTE.

Required skills

• Proficiency with virtual classroom platforms such as Zoom.
• Experience using learning management systems like Google Classroom.
• Strong French language proficiency and curriculum development skills.
