French Teacher

About the role

Fusion Academy is seeking a passionate French Teacher to join its 1‑to‑1 private school environment for grades 5‑12. You will design and deliver personalized French lessons, mentor students, and collaborate with a team dedicated to academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Teach French courses (levels 1‑5) following provided curriculum and standards.
• Adapt lessons and assessments to each learner’s needs.
• Mentor students and support their social‑emotional development.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
• Participate in campus culture, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to school initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree or teaching credential is a plus).
• Willingness to teach French and Humanities courses.
• Experience working with diverse learners, including those with learning differences or mental‑health challenges.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Growth mindset, adaptability, and problem‑solving skills.
