French Teacher – Bay Area (Part‑time)

About the role
EFBA is seeking enthusiastic French teachers to join its network of Bay Area campuses for the 2026‑2027 school year. You will lead engaging, bilingual classes for students from TK through grade 12, helping them discover French language, francophone cultures, and the benefits of multilingual learning.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver French language instruction during scheduled evening slots (Mondays & Wednesdays and/or Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00‑5:30 PM).
- Prepare and adapt lesson plans using EFBA’s curriculum resources.
- Foster an inclusive, interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a multicultural teaching community.
Required profile
- Passion for French language and culture.
- Experience teaching French or working in language education.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Comfortable working with TK‑12 learners in a dynamic classroom.
- Resides within commuting distance of one of EFBA’s Bay Area campuses.
Required skills
- Ability to teach French to a range of age groups.
