French Language Instructor – Independent Contractor

About the role

Concorde Education is looking for qualified French language instructors to deliver enrichment sessions for K‑12 students on a freelance basis. Assignments are on‑site at partner schools across the United States and typically run for about ten weeks, with 1–4 instructional hours per week after school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate French language lessons covering vocabulary, conversation, grammar, pronunciation and cultural topics.
• Adapt instruction to the varying skill levels, resources and curriculum guidelines of each school.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
• Complete brief session reports after each lesson and communicate any concerns to Concorde and school staff.
• Incorporate interactive activities such as games, role‑plays, projects and cultural celebrations.

Required profile

• Fluent in French with strong command of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Experience teaching or tutoring French to elementary, middle or high school students.
• Ability to work independently as a contractor and manage flexible schedules.
• Professional judgment to modify lesson plans according to site requirements.

Required skills
