French Instructor – Independent Contractor

About the role

Concorde Education is seeking qualified French instructors to deliver language enrichment sessions for K‑12 students on a freelance basis. Assignments are on‑site at partner schools and typically run for about 10 weeks, with 1–4 instructional hours per week after school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging, age‑appropriate French language lessons covering vocabulary, conversation, grammar, pronunciation, and cultural topics.
• Adapt instruction to student proficiency, available resources, and school requirements.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate any needs or concerns to Concorde and school staff promptly.
• Complete a brief session‑completion form after each class.
• Follow all site safety, visitor, technology, emergency, and student‑protection procedures.

Required profile

• Fluent in French with strong command of speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Experience teaching or tutoring French to elementary, middle, or high‑school students.
• Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and travel to various school locations.
• Professional judgment to adapt curriculum and activities as needed.
