Freelance Social Copywriter

About the role

Milk Makeup is seeking a freelance Social Copywriter to join its editorial team on a part‑time basis. You will craft engaging organic and paid social copy that reflects the brand’s inclusive, creative beauty ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit, and collaborate on organic captions, supers, and paid ad copy for all Milk Makeup social platforms.
• Review visual assets alongside copy to ensure cohesive storytelling.
• Stay aligned with product positioning by checking in regularly with the editorial team.
• Submit copy for approval to the Editorial Director and flag any questions.
• Support the paid and DTC teams with demand‑gen and PMAX ad copy.
• Handle ad‑hoc copy requests such as brainstorming sessions and product name ideation.
