Founding Product Engineer

About the role

Listen Labs is building an AI‑powered interview platform that turns free‑form conversations into structured insights. As a Founding Product Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end product experience, from data pipelines to user‑facing features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop systems that convert qualitative conversation data into quantitative insights using embeddings and fine‑tuned large language models.
• Design and implement prompting strategies to ensure the AI interviewer asks the right follow‑up questions.
• Build and improve the speech‑to‑speech pipeline that handles audio input and output for the LLM.
• Collaborate with other engineers to create scalable, maintainable codebases.

Required profile

• Enjoys working on products end‑to‑end without detailed direction.
• Collaborative builder who writes code with other engineers in mind.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator.
• Knows when to seek assistance to discuss trade‑offs.
• Willing to tackle unglamorous engineering tasks.
