Founding Marketer

About the role

TypeSafe is building reliable, general AI systems that power real‑world automation. As the Founding Marketer you will shape how the company is perceived, from high‑level narrative to the tactical copy that reaches developers and enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the company narrative, blog, thought pieces, and positioning of founders and researchers.
• Develop product marketing messaging that translates deep technical capabilities into developer‑friendly language.
• Manage the brand, website, and social cadence across X and LinkedIn.
• Coordinate launches, press releases, podcasts, and events for product announcements.
• Drive demand generation initiatives to build a pipeline of developer and enterprise interest.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building a marketing function from scratch in a fast‑moving startup.
• Proven ability to set strategy and execute across narrative, launches, demand, and growth experiments.
• Exceptional writing skills—clear, technical, and fast.
• Deep familiarity with the AI industry and ability to discuss models and APIs with engineers.
• Hands‑on, ownership‑focused mindset that thinks in terms of goals, not tickets.
