Forward Deployed Engineer – AI Applications

About the role

Intermedia is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its Professional Services team. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering AI‑driven communication solutions to enterprise customers, guiding projects from initial discovery through go‑live and hyper‑care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deployments of Intermedia AI Applications, including AI‑powered voice agents, intelligent routing, virtual assistants and contact‑center automation.
• Conduct discovery workshops with IT, CX, CRM and executive stakeholders to capture business requirements.
• Translate workflows into detailed solution designs and configuration plans.
• Deploy and test AI solutions across voice and digital channels, integrating with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, ServiceNow, Zendesk and Zoho CRM.
• Build and validate REST API integrations, webhook configurations, authentication flows and CRM write‑back processes.
• Author test plans, support user‑acceptance testing, manage go‑live readiness and provide post‑deployment hyper‑care.

• Customer‑facing professional who thrives at the intersection of technical implementation and client engagement.
• Experience delivering AI‑enabled communication or contact‑center solutions.
• Ability to work independently on complex projects from statement of work to production.
