Forklift Mechanic – Service Center

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our Chicago Service Center. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday with various shifts, and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Rebuild, repair, and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.
• Perform aerial lift repairs when needed.
• Create and manage repair work orders using computer systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by management.

Required profile

• Clean driving record for the past five years.
• At least three years of experience repairing/maintaining industrial fork trucks.
• Experience with electric and manual pallet jack repair.
• Ability to lift 100 lb (125 lb preferred) and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Own basic hand tools; company provides specialized tools.
