Forklift Mechanic – Full-Time (Yemassee, SC)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our RLC Service Center in Yemassee, SC. The role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of material-handling equipment to keep our operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild electric and manual forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections on aerial lifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Create and update repair work orders using computer systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools are accounted for.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by management.

Required profile

• Clean driving record for the past five years.
• At least three years of hands‑on experience repairing industrial fork trucks.
• Ability to lift 100‑125 lb and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently.

What we offer

• Hourly pay ranging from $26.92 to $31.89.
• Sign‑on bonus of $2,500 (limited time).
• Full‑time schedule, Monday‑Friday with various shifts.
• One week of vacation after 90 days of employment.
