Forklift Mechanic – Full-Time (Norwalk, OH)

About the role

RLC is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join its Norwalk, OH Service Center. You will work full‑time in a fast‑paced environment, repairing and maintaining a variety of material‑handling equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild, and repair industrial forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections on aerial lifts.
• Create and manage repair work orders using computer systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by management.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience repairing/maintaining industrial fork trucks.
• Clean driving record for the past five years.
• Ability to lift at least 100 lb and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Self‑motivated, able to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Forklift repair and maintenance.
• Electric and manual pallet‑jack repair.
• Aerial lift repair (preferred).
• Hydraulic lift maintenance.
• Computer proficiency for creating work orders.
