Forklift Mechanic – Full-Time (Class A)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our Maybrook, NY service center. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, first shift (10:00 am‑6:30 pm), and involves maintaining a fleet of industrial forklifts, pallet jacks and hydraulic lifts.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and rebuild Class A forklifts and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pallet jacks, hydraulic lifts and aerial lifts.
• Create and manage repair work orders using computer systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Provide other duties as directed by management.

Required profile

• Clean driving record for the past five years.
• Minimum three years experience repairing/maintaining industrial fork trucks.
• Ability to lift 100 lb and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated with reliable attendance.

Required skills

• Forklift repair and rebuild.
• Pallet jack repair and maintenance.
• Hydraulic lift maintenance.
• Aerial lift repair (preferred).
• Computer work‑order creation.
