Foreign Labor Certification Specialist (Level I)

About the role

The Technical College System of Georgia is seeking a full‑time Foreign Labor Certification Specialist I to join the Office of Workforce Development. In this role you will provide direct customer service and guidance to agricultural and H‑2B employers throughout the foreign labor certification process.

Key responsibilities

• Process H‑2A and H‑2B applications, including job order review and submission to USDOL.
• Act as the primary liaison between employers, government agencies, and internal staff.
• Conduct housing inspections, follow‑up calls, and verify worker hires.
• Provide guidance on eligibility, application deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Assist field staff with job posting requirements and WIOA Title III services.

Required profile

• Comprehensive understanding of Federal and State foreign labor certification regulations.
• Experience serving agricultural and seasonal labor employers.
• Strong documentation and filing skills for certification and visa processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
