Foodservice Worker

About the role

The Foodservice Worker ensures smooth food preparation and service across various dining environments. This role upholds high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service to deliver a positive dining experience while supporting kitchen staff and management in meeting daily operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and portion guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils in line with health and safety standards.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Serve food to customers or assist with food delivery within the facility, providing courteous and efficient service.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to coordinate meal preparation and timely service during peak hours.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Previous experience in foodservice or hospitality is a plus.
• Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe) is preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
