About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a Food Service Worker to join the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. This position supports daily food operations, serving employees, clients, and visitors while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, heat, and finish cooking food items in accordance with recipes and safety standards.
- Serve meals and beverages to customers, clients, and staff.
- Receive and disburse money in the food service area when required.
- Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware to maintain hygiene.
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
Required profile
- An equivalent combination of education, training, or experience that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the duties.

- Cash handling and basic money disbursement.
