Food Service Worker (Full Time)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Food Service Worker to join Restaurant Associates at our New York location in the 3 World Trade Center building. The role involves preparing, presenting and serving food to customers in a fast‑paced, high‑quality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients according to recipes.
• Transport pans, kettles and trays safely between work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Store food following wrapping, dating, rotation and safety procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils regularly.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, temperature and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently, handling concerns and escalating to a supervisor when required.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation, safety, inventory and cash control procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food service or a similar hospitality role.
• Ability to work full‑time, Monday through Friday, with variable hours.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation and company service standards.
