Food Safety Supervisor - Jiffy Lube Live

About the role

Legends Global is hiring a Food Safety Supervisor for its Jiffy Lube Live event in Bristow. The supervisor ensures that all aspects of the food operation are carried out safely and in line with the HACCP plan, and acts as a representative of the company during County Health Department visits at the event.

Key responsibilities

• Before the show: inspect all food stands to identify and fix potential health violations, such as missing temperature logs, unavailable production logs, missing thermometers, gloves and small wares, and unstocked hand towel and soap dispensers.
• Check that hand washing stations have working hot water.
• During the show: accompany County Health Officials on site while the kitchens are running, help them review the operation and fix any violations they note.
• Continue walking the venue before and after the inspection to find and correct other potential violations.
• Encourage the team to follow safety policies, report unsafe conditions, complete safety training, and report injuries and illnesses through the company's risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day.

Required profile

• Experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Experience with health departments.
• Proven management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to stand and move quickly for an entire shift, and to lift and carry items up to 45 pounds, occasionally more.
• Able to work in both warm and cold environments, with hours that may be extended or irregular, including nights, weekends and holidays.
