Floating Service Technician – Park Place at 92nd

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Floating Service Technician to support the Park Place at 92nd community. The technician will ensure that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance work, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory tracking.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning, pressure‑washing, painting, and general maintenance tasks.
• Effective communication with residents, vendors, and maintenance supervisors.
