Floating Maintenance Technician

About the role
The Floating Maintenance Technician ensures that all physical aspects of Greystar’s residential properties—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position is based on‑site in Atlanta, Georgia.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose the source of defects or problems and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and applicable codes.
- Conduct the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
Required profile
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and building issues.
- Experience with preventative maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
