Floating Maintenance Technician – Elevate on 5th

About the role

The Floating Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Elevate on 5th property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, task completion, and final inspection.
• Manage inventory by tracking material usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using tools and supplies efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in routine safety meetings.

Required profile
