Floating Assistant Community Manager – NYC & Long Island

About the role

The Floating Assistant Community Manager supports the effective management and operations of multiple residential communities for Greystar. Working closely with on‑site Community Managers, the role ensures residents receive a high‑quality experience while adapting to changing assignments across New York City, Westchester County and Long Island.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on‑site Community Managers in the day‑to‑day operations of multiple residential properties.
• Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of each community’s unit mix, amenity package, sub‑market conditions and client specifications.
• Prepare and review property‑management‑system (PMS) reports to ensure accurate data and compliance.
• Support resident relations by addressing inquiries and helping to create a positive living experience.
• Adapt quickly to changing geographic assignments, supervisors and property portfolios.

Required profile

• Strong ability to absorb and apply community‑specific information rapidly.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, staff and external partners.
• Flexibility to work across New York City, Westchester County and Long Island as needed.
