Flight Paramedic – Starting at $20.92+ DOE

About the role

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a qualified Flight Paramedic to join its air‑transport team. You will provide advanced pre‑hospital and intra‑hospital care while ensuring the safety of patients, crew, and equipment during flight missions.

Key responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each flight within required timeframes.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic inventory.
• Deliver advanced life support from initial contact through hand‑off to the receiving facility.
• Participate in pre‑mission briefings, liftoff checklists, and post‑mission debriefs.
• Assist pilots with radio, navigation, and visual observations as needed.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and documentation of licensure, certifications, and continuing education.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a 911 or critical‑care setting.
• Current EMT‑P license in the state of operation.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and trauma certifications.
• Advanced certification (FP‑C) preferred, required within 24 months of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT‑P certification may be required depending on the region.
