Flight Paramedic – Crockett, TX

About the role

We are seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our air‑transport team in Crockett, Texas. You will provide advanced pre‑hospital and intra‑hospital care while safely transporting patients by helicopter to and from medical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each flight within required timeframes.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic inventory.
• Deliver advanced life support care from initial contact through hand‑off to the receiving facility, maintaining thorough documentation.
• Participate in ongoing laboratory and clinical training to maintain competency.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing‑education records.
• Operate and maintain emergency equipment and supplies.
• Attend pre‑mission briefings, assist with liftoff checklists, and support the pilot with radio, navigation, and visual observations.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Fill open or vacant shifts as directed by the Regional Director.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a 911 or critical‑care setting.
• Current EMT‑P license/certification for the state of Texas.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and trauma certifications.
• Advanced certification (FP‑C) preferred; must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• Possibility of NREMT‑P certification depending on assignment.
