Flight Nurse

About the role

AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated professional to serve as a clinical information systems resource, supporting providers across the organization. The role combines on‑site assistance, system optimization, and education to ensure seamless use of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and related applications.

Key responsibilities

• Round with clinical providers to assess EMR functionality, workflow impact, and gather enhancement requests.
• Analyze requirements, propose solutions, and log validated EMR enhancement requests for operational approval.
• Conduct regular IT outreach sessions, share application tips, and train providers on best practices.
• Customize applications using EMR tools, deliver orientations, train‑the‑trainer sessions, and support upgrades.
• Execute change‑management activities, including communication, training, and technical support for new application releases.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call support, go‑live assistance, and post‑implementation optimization, including travel to other facilities as needed.
• Develop and maintain training materials aligned with current clinical workflows.

Required profile

• Experience working with clinical information systems and EMR platforms.
• Strong analytical skills to translate provider needs into technical solutions.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights, weekends, and travel nationally for major implementations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both clinical and technical teams.
