About the role

The U.S. Navy is seeking a Flight Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to aviators, aircrew, and operational personnel. This position blends clinical practice with aviation expertise, leadership, and operational support across domestic and overseas locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary care and conduct aviation physical examinations.
• Maintain medical readiness of aviation personnel.
• Advise command leadership on health and performance issues.
• Support Navy and Marine Corps aviation units in operational environments.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified).
• Unrestricted medical license.
• Eligibility to complete Navy Flight Surgeon training.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Age between 21 and 57 as required by Federal law.
