Flex Operator

About the role

ORBIS is seeking a Flex Operator to support its injection‑molding production lines. You will receive cross‑functional training and work closely with Process Technicians to ensure smooth operation of molds, nozzles and equipment during the 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. shift.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, test and assemble nozzles and nozzle blocks.
• Perform mold and version changeovers, including material and option changes.
• Clean presses and press areas as required.
• Conduct daily equipment, water‑line and 5S audits, as well as mold pre‑stage checks.
• Provide coverage for Relief and Production Operators, including overtime and vacation support.
• Assist technical team members with preventive maintenance on injection‑molding tools and equipment.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work a 12‑hour rotating shift (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on).
