Fleet Transporter

About the role

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a full‑time Fleet Transporter to support its Customer Service/Distribution Centers and dealerships. The role involves moving straight trucks and vans, handling inventory and parts, and providing general facility support while upholding safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Shift vehicles in the yard as needed.
• Control inventory and parts, including ordering and picking up parts.
• Perform visual inspections of waste‑oil and fuel tanks.
• Assist with yard checks of fleet vehicles.
• Maintain accurate logs for all trucks and vans moved.
• Conduct light‑duty repairs such as changing bulbs and wipers.
• Audit and close repair orders in the computer tracking system.
• Provide general facility support functions.

Required profile

• Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan’s safety policies and procedures.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Clean driving record with at least two years accident‑free.
• Pass all DOT pre‑employment requirements, hair‑follicle drug test, and criminal background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
