Fleet & Transportation Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized Fleet & Transportation Manager to lead our trucking operations that support nationwide tours, conventions and live events. Based in Xenia, Ohio, this full‑time hybrid role will ensure the fleet runs safely, efficiently and in full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with DOT, state and local regulations for all administrative, legal, safety and tax requirements.
• Oversee operational readiness and maintenance of the DanceOne trucking fleet, coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs while meeting event schedules.
• Ensure sufficient fleet assets are available to meet all logistical and transportation needs.
• Manage a team of CDL and non‑CDL drivers nationwide, partnering with HR and Operations to staff driver roles appropriately.
• Monitor driver documentation (licenses, certifications, medical cards, training records) and DOT requirements.
• Utilize fleet technology platforms (Samsara, DoT Clearinghouse, TenStreet) to track logistics, safety and driver performance.
• Support route planning, transportation scheduling and operational logistics for tours, events and productions.
• Uphold high standards of safety, communication, accountability and execution.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of DOT, state and local transportation regulations for FTL and LTL operations.
• Experience managing privately held fleet operations and transportation logistics.
• Proven leadership, organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience supervising drivers and transportation support staff.
• CDL license preferred.
