Fleet Operations Associate

About the role

Avis Budget is hiring a Fleet Operations Associate in New York to work with its Fleet Operations Team. The associate keeps cars clean and maintained and moves them to where Zipcar members need them, using foot, bike, public transit or a Zipcar to make sure every vehicle is member-ready.

Key responsibilities

• Keep vehicles clean and maintained so they are ready for members
• Change tires, fill the gas tank, clean cars and help coordinate tows or repairs
• Provide vehicle status updates to the operations team
• Work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Required profile

• Strong time management to handle multiple priorities and tasks
• Excellent communication with the operations team
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record per company standards
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials up to 50 lbs.
