Fitness Receptionist – Seasonal Part‑Time

About the role

The Madison Club is seeking a friendly, highly organized Fitness Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members and guests at the Fitness Center. This seasonal, part‑time position supports daily operations and delivers an exceptional member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly, learn names and preferences.
• Answer phone calls, emails and texts, and respond to fitness‑center inquiries.
• Schedule personal‑training, fitness‑assessment, stretching and wellness appointments using TEI and other club systems.
• Open and close the fitness center according to established procedures.
• Assist with daily facility inspections, equipment cleanliness and operational checklists.
• Process member charges for training and wellness services and maintain accurate records.
• Protect member confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Required profile

• Professional, friendly demeanor with strong hospitality focus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for health, wellness and member service.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with TEI (club management software) for scheduling and member management.
