First Shift Set Up Operator – $22.52/hr

About the role

We are looking for a First‑Shift Set Up Operator to join our Shelbyville manufacturing plant. Working the 7:00 am‑3:30 pm shift, you will help keep production flowing by setting up, adjusting and maintaining equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot and clean machines and equipment.
• Maintain product flow to meet service‑level goals.
• Ensure a safe work environment and follow 6S principles.
• Verify that products meet specifications and complete quality‑assurance documentation.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork, labeling and handling of scrap or rework.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to learn, grow and contribute to a team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to read and write English and follow safety and quality instructions.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Required skills

• Basic tool and equipment operation.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic mathematics.
• Basic computer usage.
