Firearms Instructor

About the role

United Defense Tactical is looking for a skilled Firearms Instructor to deliver realistic, safety‑focused training to civilians, military personnel, and law‑enforcement officers. This part‑time position offers a flexible schedule of 16‑20 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct members using UDT’s threat‑based reality simulator.
• Teach force‑on‑force and self‑defense courses.
• Conduct individual and group firearms training covering safety, handling, and shooting techniques.
• Maintain training equipment, facilities, and a safe range environment.
• Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with industry developments, new equipment, and training techniques.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a firearms instructor or law‑enforcement officer.
• Ability to learn and follow UDT’s extensive curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of firearm safety and handling protocols.
• Familiarity with a variety of firearms and comfortable working in an outdoor range environment.
• Possession of all necessary certifications and licenses for instruction.
