Financial Services Software Engineer I (Entry Level)

About the role
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking an entry‑level Software Engineer to join its Financial Services Automation team. You will help automate operational processes that support a suite of payment services used by financial institutions nationwide.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to gather automation requirements.
- Develop automation scripts using Ansible, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
- Maintain documentation for automation standards, templates, and operational needs.
- Schedule and orchestrate automated jobs with Ansible Tower or similar tools.
- Continuously improve processes, drive cost‑reduction initiatives, and build domain knowledge.
Required profile
- 0‑2 years of professional experience (junior level).
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong willingness to learn and collaborate with IT and business partners.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
