Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

Toyota Mississippi's Business Unit Finance Department is seeking a motivated Financial Reporting Analyst to support the Product Profitability Lifecycle Management function. The role focuses on coordinating the financial close process, analyzing performance against targets, and delivering timely reports that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger close activities.
• Collaborate with local and TMNA Plano Accounting & Finance teams to meet close deadlines.
• Analyze actual versus budget and prior periods, with a focus on labor costs, and submit reports to TMNA Plano.
• Serve as the primary contact for Toyota Mississippi GL inquiries to TMNA Plano and other NAMC finance groups.
• Lead labor reporting, including reconciliations of accrued payroll accounts and analysis of rates and usage.
• Execute Kaizen projects to improve reporting efficiency and analytical processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with SAP and cost accounting is preferred.
