Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a leading organization to hire a Financial Reporting Analyst for its Finance & Accounting team. The role focuses on preparing and analyzing external and internal financial reports, including SEC filings and management reporting packages. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented accounting professional seeking exposure to high‑visibility finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable reporting requirements.
• Assist in developing and completing quarterly and annual external reporting deliverables, including SEC‑related filings.
• Compile and analyze financial data for recurring management reporting packages and executive presentations.
• Conduct technical accounting research and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions and new guidance.
• Monitor accounting standard updates and support implementation of reporting or process changes.
• Partner with internal and external audit teams during quarterly reviews and annual audit activities.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Create ad‑hoc financial analyses and reporting schedules to support leadership and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with accounting, finance, and operational teams to gather and validate financial information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience in public accounting and/or industry.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements.
• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA preferred.
• Experience with public accounting firms, especially Big Four, is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of $90,000 – $120,000 per year.
