Financial Due Diligence Intern – Summer 2027

About the role

Join PwC’s Deals team as a Financial Due Diligence Intern for the Summer of 2027. You will work alongside experienced professionals to analyse financial statements, assess earnings quality, and support clients through mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating financial information, cash flows, and asset quality for client transactions.
• Conduct basic financial modelling, forecasting, and valuation research.
• Support the preparation of due‑diligence reports and presentations for senior team members.
• Gather data from multiple sources, identify patterns, and contribute to risk assessments.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university program with a focus on finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about business transactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to ask questions, take initiative, and deliver high‑quality work.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and financial modelling.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
