Financial Controller – Operations (Revenue $50M+)

About the role

The Operations Controller will lead financial reporting, analysis and control for a high‑impact business unit generating over $50 million in revenue. You will partner with unit managers to drive budgeting, forecasting and profitability while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare unit‑by‑unit month‑end financial reports, budgets and interim forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, identify control weaknesses and implement cost‑control initiatives.
• Test internal controls for accounts payable, billing, payroll and general ledger processes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for material and labor costs, analyze financial trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with General Managers on continuous‑improvement reviews and labor planning.
• Review customer pricing proposals and support Area VP in pricing decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, controlling or cash management.
• Broad knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present data accurately.

Required skills

• SAP (general‑ledger transactions).
• Kronos time‑and‑attendance system.
• Ultipro payroll platform.
• Datamatics accounts‑payable controls.
• Experience with KPI development and performance analysis.
