Financial Controller – Multi‑Entity Manufacturing & E‑commerce

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to own the full accounting function for a fast‑growing manufacturing, wholesale, and e‑commerce business. Based onsite in West LA, you will work closely with executive leadership to build robust financial processes and support strategic decision‑making across multiple revenue channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle accounting including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close, delivering GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Oversee revenue recognition for direct‑to‑consumer, marketplace, and wholesale channels, ensuring accurate treatment of fees, returns, and deductions.
• Coordinate multi‑entity accounting, intercompany transactions, allocations, and consolidated reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Ensure precise inventory accounting and COGS reporting across fulfillment networks.
• Drive improvements to accounting systems, internal controls, and ERP optimization.
• Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and service providers to maintain compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of progressive accounting experience in CPG, manufacturing, wholesale, or inventory‑driven environments.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to operate strategically and hands‑on.
• Experience managing multi‑entity structures and complex revenue streams is preferred.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of GAAP and full‑cycle accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
