Financial Controller – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the finance team of a multinational manufacturing operation in the United States. The role is embedded within plant leadership and will translate production activity into financial insight, supporting strategic decisions across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full financial controlling function at the plant level, including budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close, and management reporting.
• Monitor and analyze production costs, variances, and key performance indicators, delivering actionable recommendations to plant management.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and procurement to drive cost‑optimization and efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate with regional and global finance teams for consolidation, audit, and reporting cycles.
• Support capital expenditure planning and investment analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Plant Controller or similar role within a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Strong command of cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CPA or CMA a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix, cross‑cultural organization.
