Financial Controller

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing organization, is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to join the leadership team on a direct‑hire basis. The role will shape budgeting, reporting and financial controls, providing the insight senior leadership needs to scale efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver data‑driven financial reports for the executive team.
• Develop, maintain and enforce robust internal controls across revenue, costs and departmental budgets.
• Lead month‑end close and consolidation for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and speed.
• Manage treasury functions including cash forecasting, banking relationships and account oversight.
• Partner with the CEO to set financial benchmarks and establish regular reporting rhythms.
• Standardise accounting policies, stay current on tax law and act as primary liaison for external auditors.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional accounting and finance experience, preferably with senior management exposure.
• Audit background is a plus.
• Proven track record of improving and streamlining accounting operations.
• Strong project‑management capabilities applied to finance initiatives.
