Financial Controller

About the role

The Controller oversees all accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information while supporting strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting functions, including general ledger, month‑end close, reporting, reconciliations and related processes.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close cycles to deliver timely, accurate reports.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Develop, maintain and monitor internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning activities.
• Analyze financial results and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Partner with external consultants on system implementations, consolidations and process‑improvement projects.
• Mentor, develop and manage accounting staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Proven experience managing month‑end close and annual audit processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
