Financial Controller

About the role

The North America Controller will lead month‑end and quarter‑end close processes for a publicly traded parent company while overseeing general accounting, internal controls, technical accounting, and compliance across multiple service lines. This senior finance position partners with RPO and Total Talent leadership to drive profitability, pricing discipline, and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial control, reporting and compliance for RPO and Total Talent client portfolios.
• Own month‑end close, balance‑sheet integrity and reconciliations across multiple legal entities and geographies.
• Establish governance frameworks aligned to margin‑driven operating models.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Partner with business leaders to analyse client‑level P&L performance and support pricing models.
• Oversee revenue recognition in line with contract structures and milestones.
• Act as primary finance contact for external auditors and lead audit outcomes.
• Design, implement and improve internal control frameworks for a global environment.
• Identify and mitigate financial, operational and contractual risks.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insight for non‑finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial reporting, month‑end close and audit coordination.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven leadership in finance within multi‑client, multi‑country service organisations.
• Ability to act as a strategic partner to senior business leaders.
